No, seriously God, just do it. Just end this assignment you’ve put me on right now because there is no way I can do this on my own. How do you even expect me to go through this assignment? Am I even qualified? If I am, I guess I just got all kinds of unqualified because this task seems unbearable and impossible! I thought I was prepared, but now I’m not sure. So, what do we do when God sends us on ‘Mission Impossible’? We believe the impossible can be achieved by Him. Let’s turn to Daniel 3.
But if you do not worship, you shall immediately be cast into a burning fiery furnace. And who is the god who will deliver you out of my hands?”
Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego answered and said to the king, “O Nebuchadnezzar, we have no need to answer you in this matter. If this be so, our God whom we serve is able to deliver us from the burning fiery furnace, and he will deliver us out of your hand, O king. But if not, be it known to you, O king, that we will not serve your gods or worship the golden image that you have set up.
Daniel 3: 15-18(ESV)
So, this sounds nice, this seems like an easy thing to say right: ‘God’s gonna see me through it and even if He doesn’t He’s still the OOG(the Original and Only God) BRUH!’ /dropsmike. But seriously, I often wonder what went through their heads when Old King Neb tossed this their way? I mean they had been very thoroughly prepared beforehand by Nebuchadnezzar’s council man. The training they went through was vigorous and not only that they had God answering their prayers with much wisdom left and right. However, I’m pretty certain there was no instruction manual for them that said: ‘When the king threatens to throw you into the fire, follow these steps’. Nope! They really even didn’t have time to ask God what to say in this instance, but they were praying, so it’s possible God could have forewarned them, but since the scriptures don’t detail all of that, let’s just assume there was no preparation to them being placed in the fire.
What happens when a curve ball is thrown your way while you’re trying to do an assignment for God? You weren’t prepared for this at all, yet in Daniel it’s clear that we are indeed prepared for every instance thrown on our assignment for God no matter what. Sure, sometimes we may not feel prepared and we may not even be sure if we are going to pass this test or trial that popped up out of nowhere, but when this happens all we can do is trust in God. Period. That’s it. What else can you do when the situation is so dire, hectic or impossible seeming? You cannot do anything, but rely on who God is and His ability.
It’s up to us to take our focus off of ourselves and what we can or cannot do and take our eyes off the furnace/trial/circumstance that lies ahead of us and just trust that God can see us through and will do what it is that He needs to do in our lives.

Just the word of encouragement I needed, it’s hard to have that type of faith under the circumstances but that’s a good reminder, Our God is Mighty to save and we shall always have faith no matter what the circumstances
