
When I was first graduating high school, there were so many things I enjoyed doing and some of those things I was pretty good at. I had a lot of different interests so when it came to finding my purpose and call in life, I was utterly and completely lost. I see a lot of people who have the opposite of this problem, but still can relate to my struggle of being lost on what God has called them to do. Just like everyone else I was clueless in which direction I should head, not because I didn’t know my gifts, but because I was not grounded in my identity. I had an idea of who God was, but had no idea what He said about me. I think a lot of people might think one is ‘lucky’ to know what they are good at or what interests them, and that is true if you have one set goal in mind, however when you have multiple things tugging at you and pulling you in multiple directions it’s hard to pinpoint where you should move. If you have no target to hit, you cannot miss, but if you have multiple targets to hit, and should only hit one, you might feel a bit anxious about your next move.
